Stefan Tittel

CEO & Managing Director Quantumrock GmbH

Stefan is the founder and CEO of quantumrock. His background consists of continuously building successful FinTech enterprises. Stefan’s insights and understanding of high technology have led him to start and run many technology orientated financial companies like Crossgate AG, Masterpayment AG, Traxpay AG and quantumrock. His continuous focus on long-term leadership and management development gives the experience needed to start, build and scale companies where applied science can bring paradigm shifts in benefits.

Michael Morsch

CFO & Managing Director Quantumrock GmbH

Michael has more than ten years’ experience as a CFO in different technology-driven financial sector companies. As a Certified Executive Director he has worked for a European licensed financial institution and served as CFO for subsidiaries of stock listed companies such as SAP AG and Net1 UEPS Technologies. Michael is internationally focused and results orientated. He cofounded the payment service provider Masterpayment AG and real estate developer Sinus Cultor. Michael holds a Degree in Business from the University of Würzburg.

Thomas Lorenzen

Managing Director Quantumrock Capital GmbH

Thomas has more than 25 years of experience in capital investments; investment funds fee model research and developing investment strategies. He regularly writes and comments in financial journals. Thomas has successfully helped found many licensed financial services institutions and has extensive expertise in compliance, risk management and internal auditing. Since 2005 he has held executive positions for financial services organizations and now develops automated trading systems for asset management and structuring of exchange-traded securities.

Andreas Wölfer


Andreas Wölfer looks back on more than 30 years of experience in various management tasks. He has been responsible for numerous growth and market projects as well as restructuring and turnaround tasks.  

In the first 20 years of his career as a top banker, Andreas Wölfer was able to acquire extensive expertise in the areas of asset management and commercial banking. In his last function, he was responsible for the international Private Banking business segment of UniCredit Group. He was a member of the Executive Committee of UniCredit SPA in Milan and for many years a member of the Management Board of Hypo-Vereinsbank AG, Munich.  

In the last 11 years, Andreas Wölfer, as managing director of his own consulting firm, has been responsible for numerous consulting projects, interim management and advisory board mandates in private banking/asset management as well as German medium-sized businesses with a focus on trade/textiles.  

Member of the supervisory board of KBL European Private Bankers, member of the advisory board of Munich University of Applied Sciences and member of the advisory board of Human Solution Group, Kaiserslautern. Interim managing director of Liebeskind GmbH and Hiltl Holding GmbH.  

In addition, he supported numerous M&A projects with financial investors and private equity firms with his technical expertise and management experience and also participated in integration and/or transformation processes via other advisory board or consulting functions. Dr. Stephan Hauska

Head of Sales

Dr. Stephan M. Hauska has 25 years of international experience in Global Wealth Management, Family Office Services and Institutional Sales. Stephan previously held key senior management positions at Fürstlich Castell’sche Bank, Spudy & Co. Familiy Office, Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie and UBS. He started his career as a Consultant at Ernst & Young in the Financial Services Sector.

As Head of Office in Munich at Fürstlich Castell’sche Bank and Spudy & Co. Family Office, he efficiently led and built sales teams and maintained strong UHNW client relationships. At Lombard Odier Hentsch & Cie in Zurich he was a member of the Management Board and Head of the German Market. Before that, Stephan served with UBS in Zurich as a member of the Global Key Clients Executive Committee, where he oversaw Key Clients from Central Europe and established international advisory teams.

Stephan received his Dr. rer. pol. Degree and Diploma in Business Administration at the University of Siegen, with additional studies at University Milan and Harvard University.

Timothy Lloyd

Chief Business Development Officer

Timothy is responsible for Business Development at quantumrock. He is a Certified Derivatives Trader in Europe and holds the Series 3 license in the US. Previously, Timothy has worked for international private equity and working capital finance boutiques in New York City, London and Germany. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and M.Sc. in Finance from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.

Highly experienced and qualified senior banking executive with a 30+ year international performance history in Corporate and Private Banking as well as Business Governance.

Successfully led multi-cultural, sophisticated business units with full P&L and expansion responsibilities. Proven track record of successful start-ups, turnaround  situations and business development across various regions.

Worked in several national and international locations, i.e. Frankfurt, Bremen, Ho-Chi-Minh-City (Saigon), Geneva, Bahrain, Dubai and Abu Dhabi (UAE).

Former CEO of Hindujabank Middle East Ltd (for almost 4 years until end of 2021), a wholly owned independent subsidiary of S.P. Hinduja Banque Privée (formerly Hinduja Bank Switzerland) andoperating from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) under the supervision and regulation of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), holding the most comprehensive DIFC Banking License (Category 1).

Prior to this, holding several senior executive positions at National Bank of Abu Dhabi PJSC for more than 10 years, i.e. Head of UAE Business Governance – Personal Banking Group based in Abu Dhabi and Head of Private Banking Northern Emirates and Offshore out of Dubai.

Previous to this role, heading a dedicated Wealth Management & Investment Sales Unit at Mashreqbank PLC, Private Banking in Dubai for 3 years.

Preceding this, holding various senior roles at Deutsche Bank AG for 15 years, including Senior Representative in Bahrain, Investment Manager in Geneva, AVP at Deutsche Bank’s Private Banking Germany Business Development & Strategic Planning department.

Initially started the banking career with Deutsche Bank AG in Corporate & Wholesale Banking in Germany, covering local SME corporate clients in Germany as well as later multi-national clients as Senior Relationship Manager for Deutsche’s Global Corporate Banking arm based in Ho-Chi-Minh-City (Saigon), Vietnam.

Currently (since 2022) working in Dubai as Senior Representative for The Factor Y, a Swiss business incubator and accelerator company, that has invented an efficient ecosystem including a new innovation rollout process and company building model for new SMEs.

Frank Desvignes


World leader in #Fintech and #Insurtech, a born entrepreneur, Frank Desvignes is connecting the global ecosystem of #startups & #Tech players to the #Insurance world to design innovative solutions and strategic business models.

Frank is leading the Open Innovation activities of AXA Next and AXA Group across US, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

He joined AXA in 2012 to define and implement the company’s digital transformation strategy being in charge of Global P&C and EMEA LATAM Region.
Passionate about entrepreneurship and Innovation, he lived in China from 2015 to 2018 where he created AXA Lab Asia in Shanghai to be closer to the most dynamic Tech, Fintech ecosystem.
He was a board member of the French Tech Shanghai to build a strong relationship and foster cooperation between Chinese and French startups around Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain.
Prior to that, he co-established and led the Internet and Mobile Banking platform of BNP Paribas in France from 2000 to 2012.

He started his career as an Internet Entrepreneur in 1995, sold his first Internet business in 1999 and has since been making angel investments in Tech Companies. Since 2018, he is founding partner of True Global Ventures TGV4plus Fund, a serial entrepreneurs VC Fund in 20 cities investing their own money in ventures of serial entrepreneurs leveraging Blockchain Technology.

Jeffrey Nah


Jeff is founder & CEO of JN Capital & Growth Advisory & Future Ready Academy. He is a Venture Builder and Investor in over a dozen tech startups from Singapore, to India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, USA and venture capital funds, including 500Startups, Wavemaker Partners, Blue Cloud Ventures, True Global Ventures. Jeff is former banker turned entrepreneur and investor with 40-years business experience across Asia Pacific. He has lived in 7 countries and built businesses across Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand. Jeff lectures / mentors / judges at: NTU, NUS, SMU, Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), Singapore Fintech Festival SLINGSHOT and Incubators / accelerators. He is passionate about helping Singapore and the next generation transform and grow through Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

Subhash Jogia


Subhash Jogia is the co-founder Ikigai.Capital, a personal mission to champion disruptive technology ventures driven by a deep desire to create exponential impact on our environment and societies.  Specifically focused on Impact Investing in near horizon technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution, Subhash advises Family Offices, HNWIs and VCs who are actively allocating to this alternative asset class.  

A big believer in giving back, Subhash mentors and has invested in social entrepreneurs in India. After founding Ikigai.capital, he is mission-driven to champion entrepreneurs, researchers and inventors leveraging technology for the good of global society.    

Subhash serves on the Investment Committee of Consilience Ventures, a Deep Tech VC fund, SHAKE Climate Change Program and Technology advisor to UCEA Capital Partners.

Subhash has over 30 years’ experience in Investment Banking Technology bridging global commercial, technology, and business expertise.  Having worked with Morgan Stanley spanning a 22-year Technology career developing Equity Finance and Post Trade Technology systems whilst overseeing the global portfolio of IT Service providers, he has a wealth of FinTech experience with scaling up deep tech talent, particularly in India.  

Subhash has also previously work with the UK Cabinet Office to support the strategic relationships of its £9.8b annual portfolio of IT Service providers. 

Based in Cambridge, Subhash is an avid adventure sports fan, Aikido practitioner and ultra-marathon runner. He holds a degree on Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, London and Fellow of The Institute of Engineering & Technology.

Michael Block is a well-known authority and practitioner on macroeconomics, the public and private markets, and alternative investments including hedge funds and investments in AI and venture capital. He often appears as an expert panelist on Fox Business, CNBC, Bloomberg TV, and CNN, is cited in publications like CNNMoney, Barron's, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post, and speaks frequently at international public policy and investment conferences on a variety of topics in alternative investments.

Michael is Managing Director and Special Advisor at Adit Ventures LLC, a U.S.-based venture capital investment firm. In addition to serving on Adit’s Investment and Research Committees, Michael also serves on three companies’ Board of Directors: Esme Learning Solutions, an early-stage cognitive AI-driven online learning company offering classes through Oxford and MIT; Riff Analytics, an AI-driven provider of augmented team communications services; and at Adit EdTech Sponsor LLC, AV’s EdTech SPAC sponsor entity.

Julia Peter-Kerr


Julia has over 25 years of experience building strong relationships with institutional investors and consultants, managing successful business development and investor relations teams and being a thought-leader and coach for investment management and fintech firms.

Most recently, Julia headed New Age Alpha’s institutional sales efforts covering institutional investors, family offices and consultants. Her expertise includes Co-Founding Quotient Investors in 2008, a quantitative US Equity Manager seeded by the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS). Her firm was one of the first to offer a fully integrated ESG strategy.

Prior to founding Quotient, Julia brought institutional sales leadership to such firms as AXA Rosenberg Investment Management, Jacobs Levy Equity Management, DLIBJ Asset Management, and MSCI BARRA. She built the sales, client services and support team at MSCI BARRA supporting their risk analytics, and headed Sales in the US for a web-based enterprise-wide risk management solution.

Julia started her career with an internship at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in Karlsruhe, Germany where she worked on the Social Costs of Energy Consumption.

Julia has a bachelors degree in Mathematics & Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Michael Zeller

Michael brings more than 20 years’ experience in quantitative fund management in different asset classes to Quantumrock. During that time he has researched, developed and implemented numerous different systematic trading systems and has also worked for the following asset management firms and institutions: BayernInvest, CM Equity Munich, Corebot GmbH, Lupus Alpha, Credit Suisse. Key tasks at Quantumrock include optimizing and advancing current strategies and developing new strategic approaches. Michael holds a Finance degree from Augsburg University.

Mehdi brings his expertise in the field of futures and options algorithmic trading strategies development to our company.

Starting from 2007, he has contributed to various companies worldwide generating and implementing trading ideas. Highly experienced in the field of portfolio management, Mehdi holds degrees in Science of Quantitative Finance ( University Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris), Mathematical Engineering and Quantitative Finance (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées, Paris), and Science of Fundamental Mathematics (University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris).

At quantumrock Mehdi holds a head of volatility trading position and is responsible for portfolio management.

Dr. Dr. Roman Gorbunov

Head of Machine Learning

In 2000 Roman graduated from Oles Honchar Dnipro National University in Ukraine with a master’s degree in Theoretical Physics (diploma with honors). In 2007 he finished his doctoral research in Quantum Chemistry at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. From 2007 to 2010, Roman conducted post-doctoral research in Theoretical Biophysics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in New York. From 2010 to 2012, he worked at Eindhoven University of Technology on his second doctoral work in Behavioral Game Theory. Starting in 2013, Roman worked at different companies as a specialist in Data Science, Machine Learning and Mathematical Modeling. In particular, from 2013 to 2015, he worked at Blue-Yonder as a specialist in Predictive Analytics and Inventory Control based on Reinforcement Learning. From 2015 to 2017, Roman lead a team of Data Scientists developing a mathematical model of price elasticity of demand (ML on sets). From 2017 to 2018, as a Senior Research Scientist, he led a team of ML experts at Amazon to further improve the Speech Recognition model for the Alexa Virtual Assistant. Today Roman is the Head of Machine Learning at Quantumrock and is responsible for the data-driven development of trading strategies.

Nikolay Nadirashvili

Head of AI Platform

Nikolay brings more than a decade of experience at various algorithmic trading firms in Russia and applying Machine Learning at German companies (BMW, GfK).

His primary interest and expertise lies in building systematic strategies using quantitative methods and mathematical modelling of financial market dynamics. His main task at Quatumrock is the development of methodologies of automated strategy creation and validation using methods of ML and statistics and combining those methods into an AI Platform, capable of unguided strategy creation under different constraints and also using the input of domain knowledge experts as inductive bias.

Nikolay holds degrees in Economics (B.Sc.), Math (M.Sc) and Computer Science (M.Sc.) from Moscow State University and Technical University of Munich.

Thomas Kemming

Head of Operations

Thomas has over 26 years of experience working in the asset management industry. He has held various positions ranging from securities specialist, to derivatives trader, and more recently as a portfolio manager and chief investment officer. Thomas spent eleven years at Merck Finck working in senior leadership positions as their chief investment officer and later, head of professional clients. Before joining Merk Finck, Thomas spent seven years in derivatives sales and trading at HypoVereinsbank, and in the last three years set-up and established a private family office. Thomas holds a Executive Management degree from IESE Business School - University of Navarra.

Dr. Markus Boehme


Markus is an experienced board member, advisor, thought leader and investor focusing on capital markets and FinTech. He is a former McKinsey partner, Roland Berger senior partner and Accenture managing director. During his 25-years as top management consultant, he has extensively worked with leading corporate & investment banks, exchanges, and asset and wealth managers on designing and successfully delivering transformational growth and digital programs. Building on his expertise, experience and network, Markus is now advising and investing in innovative technology companies and working with private equity and venture capital funds on deal flow and value creation.

Dr. Jörn Matthias Häuser


Jörn spent 20 years with Deutsche Bank Group, where he held various management positions in wealth management and asset management, with his latest positions including COO of Deutsche Oppenheim Family Office AG and COO of Sal. Oppenheim. His focus is on securing future viability through digitalization & IT, regulatory compliance and transformation. Before joining Deutsche Bank Group, Jörn worked as a strategy consultant at Mitchell Madison Group. Jörn holds a doctorate degree in Theoretical physics from Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, Germany, an MBA from Université de Genève, Switzerland, and an Executive MBA from Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Gian Luca Fetta


Gian Luca started his career in 1998 at Société Génerale’s Corporate and Investment Bank as an equity derivatives trader. Walking his way up the corporate ladder, he was by 2009 global Co-head of the Equity and Derivatives division, which had by then grown to be the largest flow equity derivatives franchise in Europe, matching the dominance of SocGen’s structured product business. In 2012 he was co-opted in the FX business to lead the expansion of that strategic franchise and later joined Santander on a similar mandate.

Since 2018, Gian Luca has dedicated himself to fostering growth and innovation in various start-ups, joining CRZ Pricing as a Partner and acting as senior advisor and early-stage investor in a number of ventures in the fintech, crypto, regtech and medtech space.

Olivier Legrand


Olivier Legrand was until recently Managing Director and Vice-President Asia Pacific and China for LinkedIn.

Olivier brings with him more than 2 decades of leadership in technology that includes running Digital Media, Saas and consumer web businesses in the region. Prior to joining LinkedIn in February 2012, he was General Manager, Asia at The Wall Street Journal Digital Network. While at Dow Jones, he also served as Director of Marketing in Asia for The Wall Street Journal's Asia franchise, driving marketing and advertising initiatives across both print and online platforms. 

Before joining Dow Jones, he founded Creasia Marketing House, a marketing and digital production agency in Hong Kong and served as its Chief Executive Officer. Before relocating to Hong Kong in 2004, Olivier was based in Paris, and served as Marketing Director for Cortal Consors, an online brokerage that is part of BNP Paribas. 

Olivier was elected Chairperson for the Interactive Advertising Bureau Southeast Asia (IAB SE Asia) Singapore Chapter in February 2014 and February 2015, after serving as Vice-Chair in 2013. 

Olivier has a Bachelor’s degree from the Paris Graduate School of Management (ESG).
